Sophie is our newest pug puppy.  She’s six weeks old, adorable and super sweet.  Our older pug Talulah is not sure what to think of her.  I’m sure they’ll be best buds in no time.  Sophie loves to cuddle and spends a lot of time sleeping still.  I find myself being reminded of those early days of having a newborn baby.  She eats, drinks, poos, pees and sleeps.  She wakes up several times a night crying for company.  So, I’m up every couple of hours to comfort her.

Like all puppies, Sophie wants to chew on whatever she can get her mouth on.  We’ve given her a couple of chew toys that she really loves.  One is a pair of soft chewing keys and the other is a rubber pacifier.  We got her a soft cozy fleece blanket to sleep with in her crate.  We are crate training her right away and so far her potty training is going well in the couple of days that we’ve had her.  We all really love her.  The kids absolutely adore her.  Here are a few pics of our darling Sophie.  I’ll post more as time goes on.  If you have any questions about owning a pug, feel free to post it in the comments below.  I’ve been owned by Pugs for the last 5 years.  They are a wonderful breed of dog.
